Human Rights

Human Rights refer to the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to every person, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, or any other status. These rights are based on principles of dignity, equality, and mutual respect, acknowledging the inherent worth of all individuals. Human rights encompass a wide range of entitlements, including civil and political rights, such as the right to life, freedom of speech, and the right to a fair trial, as well as economic, social, and cultural rights, like the right to education, work, and an adequate standard of living.

They are generally seen as universal and inalienable, meaning that they apply equally to all people and cannot be taken away. Human rights are protected and promoted by various international treaties and organizations, most prominently the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations in 1948. The concept serves as a framework for protecting individuals against abuses and for ensuring freedom and justice.
